Going to University
When I went to University in 1998 it was the first time in my life I had my very own room and I was going to make the most of it!
Aside from all the usual stuff this freedom would allow me to get up to, I was also able to decorate the way I wanted.
I don’t mean painting the walls or anything as I’m sure that would have incurred some charge or other. No, I simply mean I could put up whatever posters I wanted. I chose a great big poster of a VW camper van and I also started picking up postcards from various University gigs etc which enabled me to create a kind of mosaic on the wall.
I didn’t take a lot of photos pre-digital but this is one that I did manage to get.
When I was looking at the photo a few minutes ago I decided to apply an “invert” filter. This is the first time I think this filter has actually made a photo look better…
