Today was very productive!
The main target today was to clear away all the bits and pieces lying around so we ended up with something that looked more like a garden rather than a building site.
I tidied around, moved a whole pile of slabs and some trees and now by back is aching.
Greg cut the grass and Bingo is in the bad books as I’m not sure how many cat turds I found but it wasn’t pleasant!
It was, however, a pleasant day but very windy so I apologise to all my neighbours who had washing hanging out that is now covered in grass cuttings…
No sooner had we got everything done that we wanted to do the rain started pouring down. I guess the Garden Gods had been on our side long enough.
Aside from the manual work I’ve also been researching planting and flowers – be afraid!
Finally, now I can see some light at the end of the tunnel. Here are a few updated pictures…
Of course, me being the immature person that I am, I decided to use the solar lights to make a little face on the pile of soil…
