(What’s The Story) Morning Glory…?

The said what...?

They said what…?

I have always found it fascinating whenever I hear a few seconds of other people’s conversations while they pass by. With no idea of the context, the meaning or the history of that conversation it just leaves me wondering.

Similarly, if you pass by a house and see a light on it makes me wonder of the people inside and how they all have their own stories to tell.

These thoughts and ideas were behind this set of lyrics that I have written…

Verse One

When you see someone that you just don’t know
Where they’ve come from
Or are about go
With a name not known and a past not shown

Caught in the minute
Sharing a second

Verse Two

When you hear three words and not much more
What do they mean and
Who are they for
Its a conversation with no revelation

Caught in the minute
Sharing a second

Everyone has their story
Everyone has their own little
world behind their eyes
Once upon their times and their ever afters

Verse Three

When you look inside and you just don’t get
What’s going on and
How the strangers met
Who’s that, who’s she and who is he

Repeat Chorus

Have you ever eavesdropped on a conversation you weren’t supposed to? Tell us about a time when it was impossible not to overhear a conversation between people who didn’t know you were there. What was the conversation about? How did it make you feel?
